We are four hours into the 2025 Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring, and so far, it has been all Action Express Racing. The #93 Meyer Shank Racing Acura holds the lead at the four-hour mark, but the #31 Cadillac has shown strong pace.

Other class leaders include the #11 TDS Racing Oreca in LMP2, the #1 Paul Miller BMW in GTD Pro, and the #21 AF Corse Ferrari in GTD. Two of these four class leaders—TDS Racing and AF Corse—started from pole in their respective categories.

Four cautions have slowed the race in the opening hours. The first incident occurred five minutes in at Turn 3, involving the #88 AF Corse Oreca and the #18 ERA Motorsports Oreca.

The second caution was triggered by contact between Ricky Taylor’s #10 WTR Cadillac and the #023 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari. The third caution involved the #52 PR1 Mathiasen Oreca and the #99 AO “Spike” entry. Most recently, Tobi Lutke’s #18 ERA Motorsports Oreca brought out the fourth yellow, which ultimately ended his team’s race.

So far, three teams have retired: #47 Cetilar Racing Ferrari, #18 ERA Motorsports Oreca, and #023 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari. Despite the cautions, the race has been relatively clean in terms of major incidents.

Overall, GM—and Cadillac in particular—have shown the pace to stay at the front early, while Porsche Penske has demonstrated strength in more unconventional conditions.

Meanwhile, Ferrari has been the surprise of the weekend in the GTD classes. After securing pole in both GTD classes, the Italian marque looks to capitalize on a strong start.
