DS Automobiles has officially confirmed its scheduled departure from Formula E following the end of Season 12.

Joining the series back in Season 2, DS had become a staple of the paddock, becoming the first ever team to win back-to-back championships. Across 10 seasons, the team has earned four world championships, 18 race victories and 55 podiums over the span. At the moment, it has not been stated if the departure will also see Penske leave the series.

This isn’t the first manufacturer from Stellantis that has departed the series, with Maserati departing following last season. The Maserati team later rebranded as Citroen and has already secured its first victory since its change with Nick Cassidy this year.

According to the series, more details will be announced in the coming days.
