The Italian GT Championship (CIGT) Sprint season opened at Imola with two action-packed races, as Georgi Dimitrov and Simone Riccitelli claimed a chaotic Race 1 win for VSR Lamborghini, before BMW Italia’s Jens Klingmann and Raffaele Marciello took victory in a penalty-shaped Race 2.

In GT Cup, Alex Frassineti and Lorenzo Pegoraro fought through to win Race 1, while experience proved decisive as Stefano Comandini and Vito Postiglione secured a standout Race 2 win.
