Dinamic Motorsport has announced its plans to return to the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS for a third year, retaining Christian Engelhart and Matteo Cairoli and bringing back Klaus Bachler.

The trio will pilot the Italian team’s Porsche 991.2 GT3R entered in the overall championship.

Engelhart – in 2017 Blancpain GT champion with Lamborghini – and Cairoli were both part of the successful 2020 crew that won at the Nürburgring in dominant fashion and was one of the main players in the 24 Hours of Spa, finishing third.

Bachler, meanwhile, was pivotal in Dinamic’s stunning entrance into GT3 racing in 2019 when the long-time Porsche Carrera Cup squad rushed onto the scene with victory in a rain-soaked Monza.

More Porsche 991.2 GT3Rs could be entered by Dinamic in 2021. Last year, the team ran a second full-time entry in the Silver Cup and a third car in Imola.

The 2021 season of the GTWC Europe is scheduled to start on 16-18 April in Monza. The annual pre-season test will be held on 11-12 March at Circuit Paul Ricard.
