Tony D’Alberto heads into Sunday’s Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour encouraged by the pace of the #93 Wall Racing Lamborghini Huracán GT3, which emerged as the leading non-Pro entry in qualifying.

With Lamborghini factory driver Marco Mapelli handling Pirelli Pole Battle duties, the #93 Lambo will start sixth overall — the first of the Bronze class runners on the grid — a strong statement against the Pro-heavy front of the field.

For D’Alberto, the weekend has already shown clear progress.

“We’re pretty happy with the pace this weekend, which is good,” the Wall Racing regular said to GT REPORT.

“Qualifying in the top ten is no mean feat when you consider the cars here, the teams and the drivers.

“The speed’s a little bit better than what we’ve had previously, and reliability has always been a strong point of this car. So fingers crossed for a good result tomorrow.”
