Bathurst 12 Hour: Will Brown strikes again in Practice 5

Melbourne Performance Centre topped the time sheets once again at the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour. The #55 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, driven by Will Brown, set the fastest lap of 2:03.040 during Practice 5.

Second place went to the #222 Scott Taylor Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, with Cam Waters just 0.215 seconds behind Brown. The third fastest time was set by Jules Gounon in the #75 75 Express Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.

Mark Rosser was the fastest Pro-Am driver. He placed fourth overall in his Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II. Brenton Grove finished fifth in the #100 Grove Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3.

Lee Holdsworth was the fastest Bronze driver, finishing sixth overall in the #79 Tsunami RT Porsche 911 GT3 R. He was followed by Kelvin van der Linde in the #32 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 Evo.

Also finishing inside the top ten were Broc Feeney in the #64 HRT Ford GT3 in eighth place, Grant Denyer in the #93 Wall Racing Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 in ninth, and Augusto Farfus in the #46 Team WRT BMW in tenth.

Practice continues at 10:05 a.m. local time.
